They're looking great! What size pots are yours in? Some of ours are in 2" pots and others are in 3" pots. We really kinda got addicted to growing these during the winter. I think we have 52 baby cactus right now. Crazy right but the winters are long here - we needed something to keep us occupied 😂😂😁We still have no idea what they'll all grow up to be but we're enjoying them.
@gjones they really aren’t in a hurry 🤣 and one is far less speedy than the others too! They have got bigger and a lot taller, I’ll post another view tomorrow 😊 they do seem to be enjoying the greenhouse so hope they’ll get even bigger by summers end 🤞🏻 Look forward to seeing yours 😁
@gjones little progress update: have 4 now 😁 and they all have a fluffy spike 😅 2 red like the top one, a bright green one like the top one, and a 3-pointed one at the bottom. Can’t wait to see what they turn into but should at least have 2 different types ☺️ how are yours doing?
I like that red one (so cute) and that 3 pointed one is cool!. From the first batch we planted (more common varieties), we have 9 that are living but still small. From the second batch (rarer varieties), we have 2 that have germinated. It's cute how even the itsy bitsy cactus have little tufts of spines. I'll post another photo in a week or so😊
@gjones funny you should say that, I just checked on them and there’s a new member of the family today 😂 I will definitely keep the tray for a while, read before that some seeds can take over a year to germinate 😜
@gjones yours look fantastic! I’m surprised any germinated for me since it’s been so cold in the greenhouse. But I’m determined to try keep these going 😂 if only to find out what they grow into 😛 it’s quite exciting 😁
