Also, what you see now is the underside of the petals which will be far less prominent when fully open 👍

@jeatacake good point 😛 know my dark pink one is burgundy before it opens. Plants are confusing 😜😂

The one I have which was my mother's is similar. Dark purple before they open & pinkish after👍

Thanks Kerry. It looks far more striking in bud than when they've actually opened! Its probably 2 or 3 weeks off yet. It's a late one & the flower buds are still small & colourless just now.
