This is my first bonsai that I purchased.

@cschulz02 Thank you, yes I’m new, the bonsai’s are not looking too good. They are both very dry, leaves 🍁 drop when touched. I will post some new pictures soon 😄

@kellyrea - What have you tried so far w/them? Is the soil too wet? Not enough or too much sun? Were they a little bit dry when you bought them? Over Feeding? That’s all I can think of right off. Proper drainage? Think 🤔 back to the conditions they were in when you bought them. How were they doing in those conditions? Let me know, please. 🌴🌺🐾

I have recently purchased this tree and I am having problems. This is my second tree in a month and both leaves are drying up. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?

@kellyrea ,Hi Kelly. Looking at the tree it seems to be a deciduous tree and it will lose all of its leaves as winter approaches. My beeches and horn beams are all showing signs of leaf die-dieback with the leaves starting to dry out prior to dropping. Keep it somewhere out of the harshest weather, not too wet and I am sure it will sprout in the Spring.

Thank you @anl That is good to hear, I thought I was the problem! I will post the other tree up either later or tomorrow 😀

Welcome to GTags 🙂

Thank you 😊 @clare2611

Hi Kelly, welcome to GTags 🙋🙋🙋

Check the plants requirements- soil, sun, water, etc. and give it all of it in exact amount - No more & No less and see. Usually a plant needs to get acclimated to a new environment. Have patience.
#bonsai not looking too good. I do hope these survive #survivor
They do tend to go through phases. Have patience. Talk to them, play music. They will be fine. Best of luck.
