Bit disappointed with this one this year few sparce petals!

More than any of mine have got! The ones I had in planters last year which I then put in the borders are pathetic! 🙈😂

Most of mine are forced bulbs that I've bought as indoor plants and when they've gone over have been planted in the garden. Maybe it takes them time to recover from that Keely?? 🤔🤔

@pelly @keely my hyacinth was a forced one a couple of years ago. Last year they were great but this year, changed colour and fewer petals too.

Love how the flower fades as it starts to finish such a delicate colour 💙💙💙

Such a lovely colour Keely! I had these last year but have just reused the pot I had them in and have no clue where I put the bulbs! 😀

@bigemrg I left these over winter in Summerhouse and brought them out at end of Jan they have rewarded me with kind this year. The ones in the house just rotted so I will do same this year and keep them in pot in cold Summerhouse for Winter 😄

Hey Hun hope your not too down in the dumps with the weather just a quick question when you put grit in your soil to help with the drainage etc which sort do you use as need to sort out my front garden this year and it gets waterlogged in a couple of beds 😘😘

@nessas just fed up of been stuck in getting bored there was stuff I wanted to move in garden while it was dormant but weather has prevented me from doing so this year so will have to do it in autumn now really wanted to put my new hydrangea in and replace my old one!! I just use grit that I top dress pots with also dug in lots of blood fish n bone and lime granules at same time just threw it on and turned it over by about a foot, put 9 bags on that back corner border but it's worked treat 😄
