Very nice 👍🏼 - I’m wondering when I should bring mine indoors soon, polytunnel temps have been single digits the last few nights now. I don’t know if it’s a blip or if this is norm as I thought that didn’t get that cold till later in year 🤔

Wow! In the photo it looks at least 3 times bigger than it is!😂 No ugly pots in the house! That just won't do!! I have the same problem! Sometimes I resort to planting in an ugly pot and just sitting that in a pretty pot!😂💘😍

I wondered if it was the variation in temperature, warm first thing in the morning, cold when we're out at work and then warm again in the evening, but I guess that's pretty much the same at your house. I'm a bit worried about it being in the greenhouse as it's not heated. 🤔🤔

Fab, I was blown away by the huge ones in the Minack Theatre gardens in Cornwall, they were huge and outdoors all year. What a difference a couple of hundred miles makes!

7w
comment
Keely

@valjones-hughes funny enough Val my neighbour recently went to Cornwall and saw loads outdoors, so much so he liked them that much he bought one himself not sure it will survive as he's not green fingered at all its been outside all time he's had it and never watered it yet but has asked when to bring it in so I've told him time will tell! I'm hoping this will get the side flowers in time like you see them in Cornwall 😆👌

@angiecrazycatlady haha I've had this about 4 years Angie I don't dislike them its just not warm enough in Yorkshire to help them thrive and my front patio is quite shaded for small plants due to the front border plants so wouldn't get much heat at all 😊 this is my only house plant as I kill all house plants it just goes out odd days but otherwise enjoys the sun from the lounge window 😆

@Naomi126 I do like this one if it gets more than one flower head I will be well happy 😆👍

@angiecrazycatlady i had to cut top off earlier this year as it got the dreaded vine weevil, it self healed and has produced some good size flowers at top about 4 and produced the babies at bottom so looks a bit odd, will leave it til next year and see if they spread up to top flowers, just glad it survived 😄

It was in summerhouse during last winter but going to bring it in this year as too cold really, winter suns not high enough to hit the summerhouse so quite cold for it, will bring it in for a bit of warmth 😐

@Jasonsparkes1 this was the new shoots last year when I cut it back, but they've dried up and died, going to cut it right down and repot with gravel in to see if it comes back again this year it was given to me and its lovely if you get it right but I'm doing something wrong clearly 🤔😣
