How did you do that!!!! It never works for me, the celery and lettuces always rot. I've tried many different levels of water.

Well just when I cut it all I went and put half in water and half outside and changed the water every 3 days and spray it with a water bottle on top

I have two celery going. The first one I started has oodles of roots and the top is beginning to grow. The second one I only started two days ago so not much has happened yet. I was also wondering if I should plant the first one in soil as the roots are over an inch long now?

Karo it could be that they are being sprayed with no grow. It keeps people like us from growing the produce we buy so we have to buy more.

..the stems of celery are best blanched or they may be to bitter... wrapping cardboard around them works fine...
