I love indoor plants and have a small outdoor garden. I live in Manitoba (Zone 3).

I bought this one at the end of the summer season for a bargain. It started blooming. Will it keep blooming? Or is it an annual?

Pretty sure they're perennials, although I'm not sure how hardy they are. I do know that if you want them for cut flowers, you should pull them rather than cutting them to encourage repeat flowering.

That's a pretty one! From what I've read, keep indoors over winter, water occasionally and cut back in spring (to 6" tall). Mine is still blooming too but it has stopped sending out buds now. I have mine outside from June 1st to the day before first frost).

@Soph1e Thanks for the advice, I will certainly pull them. I have heard the cut flowers last quite a long time.

@gjones I was quite surprised when it started blooming as I was expecting only green until spring. I will see what happens as winter sets in.
