These fell off while transplanting the monster so in some soil they go. Another 1st for me so please don't try this at home 😂🤔🌵 #cacti #eastercactus #easterlily #propagation #cactus-propagation

A very enjoyable but very painful few hours spent re-planting and raising the monster 😈 even plucked all the debris from the spines 😍😎 #eastercactus #cactus

I purchased this cactus for 50p in 1993 and it was tiny. Any ideas on what type it is and how to allow this monster to keep growing? A couple of times a year bright purple flowers bloom but not for long. Thank you in advance 😁 🌵 (photo does not do it justice)

I can keep them alive but I'm not that great at identifying them. It looks like you've done a great job keeping it alive given how long you've had it! Let's try #plantID #PlantIDcactus and see if someone can help.

You're very welcome @jsr. Following the suggestion from @wilko I've had a quick look on Google and I'm wondering if it could be an echinopsis multiplex. http://www.cactus-art.biz/schede/ECHINOPSIS/Echinopsis_oxigona_mutiplex/Echinopsis_oxigona/echinopsis_oxygona_multiplex.htm
