I dug mine up early this year and replanted them. We have quite a few but I'm sure that there will be lots next year.

Love these, though something’s been nibbling them?

Slugs or snails maybe, but mine gets attacked by lilac coloured caterpillars or grub. This happens later on usually.

@gerryparsnips they are sawfly caterpillars that attack later. If you can spot the black sawfly and try and deal with the eggs on the underside of the leaves, you can reduce the damage

Here they come! Just love these, trouble is, so do saw fly☹️

They just decimate them don’t they but weirdly it doesn’t seem to cause the plants much of a problem for the following year 🤔🤔

@awomanonabike I also find they can decimate one patch and totally ignore another

I think there’s only been one year that I can remember when they haven’t been attacked but my patch is slowly spreading along the bottom of a wall and I have other plants that grow up and hide the skeletons 😉😂
