Help please! Why has this beautiful Daphne suddenly gone brown?! #daphne #help

Oh dear, that does look sad. I hate to say this but I think it’s had it 😢 A local nurseryman who specialises in Daphnes once told me that they can often succumb to a virus, which mine did, and there’s nothing you can do. They hate to be pruned so cutting it back to healthy growth, if there is any, wouldn’t help. 🙁
