Last year I dug three of these up, including this one, and overwintered the tubers in the shed. Only this one grew back this year, so I’m taking a chance & leaving it in with lots of mulch this year. Best in mind though that we have mild winters here. #tubertuesday

Lifted & overwintered, this dahlia took a long time to shoot & has finally flowered, hooray!

Mine are taking their time too. That was worth the wait though 💞💞
