I like perennials, house plants, & interesting plants. I would like to get more plants native to my area & that attract butterflies. USDA zone 9a.
#sagopalm finally has #newfronds at the top. Question now is should I try to remove the seed ball or should I leave it alone? 🤔
No idea but that’s fabulous 💚
Thank you @juliesgarden !
I think my #sagopalm is making seeds for the first time
Love these .. that’s fantastic 🌿
Thank you @emch @juliesgarden @cowdenkyle
Magnificent! So full of life
Thank you @kaporyash ! I know, this is my favorite stage of this plant.
Gave my #sagopalm a haircut that has been much needed since the big freeze
It looks like an alien coming up out of the ground 👾👽
#sagopalm #newgrowth #babyfronds
So wish I could grow these where I live! #dinosnak #primitive
My #sagopalm is #frozen . It’s been a few years since we’ve seen snow/ice in south #louisiana
Brrrr! Those #dinosnak plants cordially dislike snow and ice...
@emch I’m not a big fan either 😖 but the kids are having fun!
Love when my #sagopalm is at this #soft #curly stage #topview

An #upclose #sagopalm of my last picture! I love the little #curls
I've never seen this growth stage so close up. Very cool picture!
Thanks @savannahssucculentgarden . This is my favorite stage, when they are soft before they get big and prickly.
A cute baby #sagopalm #frond 😍 I love how #fuzzy and #soft they are.
Thank you @matewe , did you see the closer up picture that I posted?
This guy's getting big 😳
Wow. That is one big palm.
One of my babies
Do u have care tips?
There's not too much you have to do besides find a sunny spot. When it grows new plants off to the side I take them off to keep them neat.
Should I plant with soil up to stem or leave root ball out?
@ddeaves you should leave half of the root ball out.
