These are used as healing herbs. Not sure how, but it is a #stjohnswort shrub. Do you have a medicinal garden? They don't like baking in the hot afternoon sun. I don't know about companions. Mine has gotten on well with anything I put near it. Good job Jenn. These are just gorgeous in early summer.

They look good. Very slow growing aren't they? I hope you enjoy these!

@columbiariver they are! They're so tiny I'm afraid of drowning them when I water. Lol

They're very fast to sprout and slow to start growing, but they do speed up.

Place the hypericum seeds in the center of the pots and sprinkle them with just enough soil to cover them completely. 4 Place the tray of seeds inside the plastic bag and seal it with a twist tie or rubber band. Set the bag of pots in a location with temperatures between 50 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit and keep them away from bright light.

Sow seeds indoors eight to 10 weeks before you plant to transplant them outdoors. Transplant them two to three weeks before the last expected spring frost on in early autumn. #sowindoors March 1st

Blue and purple flowers combine well with St. John's wort. Good companions include flax, evening primrose, veronica and penstemon. #companionplanting
