I've always had a garden. I enjoy a challenge! I love the rewards when it all comes together. And I learn something new nearly every day. Perfect 🌻
The weekly stir! 🥄 rhubarb gin underway. @awomanonabike Jacqueline I always use your recipe. Perfection every time 💗
😲 let me know when it's ready and I'll be right round.
You’re on! @charlotte
Ooh! That looks good. I’ve only ever made it in the spring. I might have to change my habits 😂🍸
It’s a Christmas speciality here now Jacqueline @awomanonabike
Do you make rhubarb syrup too Nicola?
I haven’t Jacqueline. It would be very versatile. How do you make it? @awomanonabike
It’s very easy to make but you need to freeze it or bottle it. You can’t make a rhubarb gimlet without it so worth the faff! Hang on a mo and I’ll check the recipe…
Combine 250ml water, 200g caster sugar and 250g rhubarb chopped into pieces. Bring to the boil then cook on low for 15-20 mins. Sieve then bottle or freeze the syrup. The sieved rhubarb is gorgeous with yoghurt 😋
Thank you Jacqueline. That would make nice Christmas pressies! @awomanonabike
I’ve just tagged you in my rhubarb gimlet recipe 🍸🍸
Would love the Rhubarb Gin recipe please 😍😃 @jendren @awomanonabike 🤞
