Learning about these too and those are amazing 😉

Thanks Phil, I've always loved dahlias, slugs love them, a lot of people lift them and dry them out at the end of the season, I leave mine in the ground @philstalder

Thanks for the info Jayne. Whatever you’re doing it’s working beautifully. 🤩

Gorgeous Jayne🤗

Really pleased with them Enid @godfreye

It's really pretty Tina 😊 @rainbowgardener

@jaynehynesburton my dad gave me dahlias tubers he grows hundreds so gave me the ones the labels had fallen off so I have no idea what’s coming from mine lol I love surprises

Nice surprises Tina, I love Dahlias @rainbowgardener

@jaynehynesburton me too and there’s buds on all but 1 so I’ll let you see soon it’s been a long wait but it’s nice I’m beginning to reap the rewards now it’s already better than brambles lol

You've worked hard, its lovely to watch your progress 😊 @rainbowgardener

@jaynehynesburton aw thank you it has and will be hard so much to do already planning for next year and going to add trees in autumn and put down lots of yellow rattle at the side with wild flowers for next year I’m quite addicted lol

Gorgeous 😀

Thankyou Akshat 😊 @akshat

Oh my. That’s simply stunning Jayne. What’s your secret. 🥰

Thanks Phil wasn't sure I liked this @philstalder

Funny you should say that. I post flowers that I’m just ok with and people go crazy over them. Others I post that I think are spectacular people are lukewarm to. I like the structure and contrast/depths of colors on this one. And your photography skills are amazing. 🤩

I do the same and then think what's wrong with people 😁 and then something you think is just ok people love it. Good camera Phil nothing else 😁 @philstalder

Is this one of the ones you’ve grown from seed Jayney? It’s lovely

A absolutely fabulous 💗🤍💗

No me Rachel, bought it this year, it's the one Keels put in the pot near Summerhouse 😘 @rachelbrooks

Thanks Rula 😊 @sabbanrula

Ahh! Not one of the poo ones then?! 😆🤣😉😘

These just came this morning Elise, I just thought get it done @auricula

Have you got your dahlias outside now? I’m no dahlia expert some gimme so advice! I’ve got my tubers from last year still wrapped up x

I've got mine in the greenhouse but you can leave them in a place that gets the sun. It's only with moving that I'm planting new, I usually leave mine in the ground Dan @dan5584

I usually star to watering mine in march, but probably is a good moment to begin

When you leave them in the ground do they normally come back? I always thought they would die. X

I just put a big pile of compost over, never lost one yet Dan @dan5584

Fab! Thanks My lovely xxx

I never do mine still the end of March 🤔

You can do them now Sue @suerichards

@jaynehynesburton I will have ago then 🤞

I usually leave them in the ground Sue just bought these @suerichards

Im going to leave mine in this year @jaynehynesburton 👍

Thanks Ladies @lovestogarden @gjones
Lovely colours. 💕😊
Thanks Diane 😃 @hkyfvr
Most welcome 💕😊 @jaynehynesburton
Lovely bloom Jayne. I planted some dahlia tubers this year for the first time and the flowers have been pretty but they've all been a bit 'leggy' with short flower stems. Should I have pinched out the tops when they were young plants?
No Chris, you don't pinch Dahlias out, hopefully they will do better next year @chrislovesgardening
Thanks Jayne, much appreciated @jaynehynesburton
