Not clear enough for me to see but wondering if it could be a ginger or tumeric plant? Have you seen it flower before? As you are in a tropical climate definitely tropical plant. Check against #ginger or #tumeric and try comparing @Jamilly
Hello, I already compared this plant with ginger and curcuma, but I did not succeed, because it has the appearance of the leaves of the curcuma, but the rhizome has the same color of the ginger and does not present a strong flavor like ginger. I have not yet had the opportunity to observe your flowers, we have had this plant for three years and have never seen your flowers. @leisel
