Veronica spicata var. hybrida

This looked pretty poorly earlier in the year but its bounced back nicely.

I was given this plant by a nurseryman who collected a few seeds from St David's Head and raised the plants at his nursery in South Wales. Although not globally recognised as a subspecies, any cultivation of this now very scarce British native at least helps to maintain the fast declining population....as OUR human population increases unabated.
