Flower or leaf buds? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Leaves left maybe some flowers right...

Potential for both here Elizabeth, the ones at the nobbley nodes should have the potential to be flower and the longer vertical off shot on the left will be leaf 🍃

I've just googled it and it says it could be because of too much nitrogen @jaynehynesburton @susieg

It's all about the pruning @jaynehynesburton @Hellebore cutting back long off shoots through the summer then going in about now and shortening those long bits back to 2/3 buds from the main frame, the summer prune is most important as it tells the plant to produce flowering spurs, I did this two years ago after years of no flowers and got overwhelmed by flowers 🌺 🙂 also if your plant has been grown from seed and not grafted it will take at least 7 years to flower so worth checking for a ....

@susieg @icedance I've no idea of the age. I know some have to be 20 years plus. This is a new one I brought last year that was flowering when I brought it as the other one I've had for 3 years has never flowered - cut back at correct times feed it etc 😣 I'd be happy with just one flower 😢
