So Shes losing all her leaves. Is This normal #plantquestion #desertrose

Have u recently repotted the plant ?

@cyndi thanks for mentioning ❤

Yes @jyotu I did and I lowered the soil to show more of the caudex. I went a little lower than I read to do but I was eager. I put it in a much more shallow pot and smaller pot. It does have drainage. Also I dont know how much sun it was getting before since it was in a store so its getting alot more light. Do u think those are the reasons? And is this ok if the caudex feels firm and looks healthy isnt that the most important part?

@heatherdirtyhands leafs always drops after repotting and caudex exposure is okay but u need to choose a big pot for it. Keep watering the plant time by time and check the caudex. A strong and hard caudex means a healthy plant.

Thank u so much and what relief. It is super hard! The stems arent so much but they are newer so thats ok right? Also so u think it needs a much bigger pot? I kmow its supposed to be shallow tho right? Like u dont want it too deep with a ton of soil. @jyotu

How often would.u water one this size? I know there are certain factors but isn't it true when its younger and you're trying to get the caudex bigger u should water more often? I have been letting it dry out before I do tho

@heatherdirtyhands growth is at least okay, your plant is good one. Nicely pruning with good nutrition can turn the plant into a biggie in no time. I keep mine plants in open under sky 24/7, they get sunlight, rain everything in summer. I do water mine everyday as soil gets dry most of the days.

Check some posts of mine then u can understand the pot size. And always do root reduction when u repot the plant. Also use fungicide in soil while repotting and if there's any scar in the plant.
