Uuugh! I had him on a high window ledge all summer and had to stand on tip toes to water. Just took it down and these two segments were hanging on by mere threads. The one has some roots left but I'm unsure if I should put in H20 like I did when I got it the first time. Probably root rot. If they aren’t rotted, spray the roots with a little peroxide and just repot. If the roots are bad, clip them off, wait a couple days for them to callous, and repot. You can get fancy and use rooting hormone but totally not necessary as these guys root pretty easily. Good luck @firefly0911 💚

Water would work but just sticking them in the ground and keeping the soil wet for a couple weeks will do just fine. It’s a jade or crassula, they root easy. In winter definitely in water
