❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Gorgeous! I recently purchased one, but it is grafted onto a base that usually rots. So I pulled off some offsets and planted them in the ground to see if they’ll take root. 🌞

@sunlovin fingers crossed. I've managed a similar heliosa to root from pups

@erino That’s awesome! Mine failed in the fall. They rotted. There’s more offsets on the plant, I’ll try again in spring 🤞

@sunlovin keep them warm when trying to get them to root. I've been keeping my other rebutia in too much sun, they are going brown, almost like spidermite damage, but I've seen no other evidence of spidermites.

Ok, thanks. It will be warmer in spring. Sometimes I don’t realize a cactus is supposed to look a certain way, and I think something is wrong with it and throw it out. I’m still learning the hard way, but when I hear other stories like yours it helps me realize there’s nothing wrong. There’s a specie of cactus that’s totally brown and I always think it’s dead. Lol. 🌞
