My son loves to go icicle hunting in this unusually cold weather. I have to tell him he can’t have this one.
We call this one June magnolia. Today is June 1st and it just opened yesterday. I won't complain😉

You're absolutely right @ShelleySnyder. Sorry for "ignoring" you - there is some weird things going on with my phone. Suddenly I don't get any warnings from GT and many other apps, and with the nice gardening weather we've been having, I find myself going for days without remembering to check for messages.

The seed pods on this magnolia reminds me of Christmas ornaments.
You could spray them silver and gold Mona and put on the tree 🌲
I should @juliesgarden, but I must admit to owning a plastic tree, so somehow that doesn't feel right together. But I am thinking perhaps I can incorporate the pods in my winter/Christmas wreath somehow. Time to start decorating!
Oh and you live in Norway 🇳🇴 with all those trees 🌲 🤣🤣
I know!!! @juliesgarden I try to make up for it by keeping most things organic and natural outside of the house at least.
