This one has had no protection, so I had to cut back quite a few blackened and damaged bits. What remains still looks pretty good, though.

My hellebores seem to be like me: Getting ready for autumn while longing for springtime.

😲 are they blooming already!?💘😍

So pretty 💕

Their such a cool looking flower with those very unique petals love em👍🏻👍🏻😊💕

They have been for quite some time already @ShelleySnyder, but they've kind of been hiding behind and in between stuff.

Never too early @gjones. Here, I have hellebores in bloom more or less all year, they seem to have some sort of schedule going so that I'll always have something nice to look at. Very considerate!

Thank you @carolgs

@terrimclaughlin , I love both their flowers and foliage. And there are so many different kinds - I feel I need them all!

Wow Mona! Mine won't start blooming until between November to January! Crazy huh!💘😍

@emve there are beautiful. Thanks for sharing

Wow that’s pretty 💖

Spring Promise indeed! GT seems to have dropped you off who I follow. I wondered why I hadn’t seen much of you for ages 🙄😉😂 Hope all is well

Another soggy morning here, but I don't mind that much because it really brings out the green and the earthy, forest-like feeling that I love.

Beautiful Mona 😍😍😍

Gorgeous Mona , one of my favourite plants 😍

I just had a look through your most recent photos Laura, and it certainly looks like we have similar conditions right now. I seem to enjoy autumn more now that my garden has matured a bit. As the summer "fluff" dies down, it almost feels like spring as the underplantings come back into view.

Stunning! Hellebores are one of my favs

I just keep getting more and more of them, @Acetaker. They really are top of my list too!

That's really too bad @gjones. They are quite hardy, but probably less so than the white nigers. Here they do well as long as drainage is good.

@emve wow your hellebore is blooming already!? Where do you live!? Mine won't bloom for at least two more months!🤔💘😍

@ShelleySnyder some of my white nigers have been at it for quite a while already, but this is the first of the hybrids. I live on the west coast of Norway, zone 1-2 I guess. Seems my garden is showing more signs of spring than usual this autumn. It has been a weird summer. Where are you located?

My word, I always think of Christmas when the helibores start flowering............. Oh no not yet!!

@emve Norway! Wow!! I live on the west coast of the USA, near Seattle Washington. I'm zone 8 USDA. It has been a wierd summer here too!!💘😍

@pottybird42 I am torn. Part ready for Christmas yet definitely not ready for the cold, dark and wet months ahead. In this house, we officially start christmas music season on November 1st. Now THAT I am ready for 😁😁😁 , we have quite a selection!

Aren't hellebores awesome! I'm in nz officially 8 days into spring. And my hellebores flowering away under the tree. They have us covered no matter the season nearly!!

They are among my absolute favourites @bananapassionfruit. Even when they aren't in flower, the foilage brings so much structure and lushness. I just can't get enough of them!

The first flower on this half of SP Elly! It accidentally got divided when I moved it a few years back😆
I kind of like it when things start to die back in autumn, because then these guys get to shine.
What a gorgeous flower 💕
