From Haugesund. With 3 children and a husband who's seemingly constantly away on business, I garden like it could save my life - and it probably does!

I do too @PunkyKy, but my children call them false advertising -- because where are the spiders??? No imagination!

No - no babies yet. They were outside for the summer and conditions probably weren't to their liking, but they seem to be putting on healthy new growth now. @PunkyKy

Exciting @PunkyKy! Do you keep yours outside? Sorry, I forget if US zone 8 is warm or cold. From that picture of the one from seed, it looks like it is growing outside. Here, spiderplants are houseplants - so common in my childhood home that I am actually just now warming back up to them again. My mother had them EVERYWHERE😐😉😉

They can be grown in ground in shade as well or in pots outside in shade and do very well. I have inside and outside. @PunkyKy @emve

Perhaps I will dig mine in a shady spot next summer. Kept them in the pot this year and they sulked. They were probably too close to a wall and didn't get enough moisture - despite all the rain we had. @cyndi @PunkyKy

Thank you @cyndi I wasn't sure....I have plenty of shade at my place and am always wondering what I'm going to grow there. ☺
