I’ve been told these are seed pods. Well see what they do #succulentsunday here’s mine Bee @grantham scroll to see what the flowers look like

Well I got these strange bean things popping out in several places on this plant and they look like flowers stems but the end look nothing like the flower buds it had before. All of them are in twos and it has me puzzled 🤔 #planthelp @emch @sunlovin @txgardener @sarahssassysucculents

Looks like seed pods to me.

Very cool @txgardener that would be awesome 👏

It would be 😊

Lucky you! I have never had a seed pod on any of these plants @docthrill

I definitely need to find me some more type of this @emch this one has 3 pod stems

I’ve never seen that before 🤔🌞

Me either, @sunlovin

By that do you mean strictly Orbeas, @docthrill ? Or some of the other cousins in this clan? There are so many wild ones

Both I guess @emch just seen pictures. This one is the only one I’ve ever seen with my own eyes 👀 I do know that one species has the largest flower on the planet, smells like a dead body and takes something like ten years to flower. Orbeas are fascinating

I have 5he same and was going to post. I have no idea 🤷

Cool @philstalder I’m excited to see what they do it had a lot of amazing flowers last summer. This is definitely different

Help me identify this plant, GT ID says it’s called earthbound star but I’m not satisfied that’s it’s name, I’m hoping someone knows, @emch you have these, what do you think 🤔

Starfish or Carrion flower (Orbea Variegata)

Thanks Jason @hebelover

I don't have one exactly like this but very close. I agree with @hebelover

Also agreed on #starfish or #carrionplant.

Looks exactly like earthbound star @docthrill I HV the starfish one looks nothing like this but it looks like #stapelia-variegata or lol earthbound star

Thank you @hannahchristine , I’ll change the name back

@docthrill I'll tag u my starfish plant totally different in looks but no flowers boo

I would say Orbea variegata...
Flower after flowers this #amazing #stapelia just keeps on #showingoff My #favorite #flower type
