Still plenty of colour.. Love the tall silvery stems topped with this bright pink flower. Dug this up from mums garden after she passed away and a few other plants 😊 Seems to love my garden ❤️💔❤️
Love this plant. Flowers all summer if you dead head regularly. Easy to sow from seed too
Beautiful Flowers
Yes @joanboston it's seeded all along the border. I gave my sister some so she has it in her garden also. Thank you @gauravsh6 😊
Plants usually only live about three years so it's good to have a constant supply. You can get it in white too, but it's not as robust I find
Here's me thinking perennials would be in my garden forever?! Didn't realise @joanboston
Some do last for many years, but some are more short lived. This is one of them
Ah hence the loss of my ceoanthus recently.. always something new to learn. Thanks @joanboston 👍😊

Not sure what this is but it is spreading through my border. Love the vibrant colour.. Please help me identify this plant 😊
My sis called it a Maltese cross but don't think it is?
@linfoster any ideas?
Pretty sure it's rose campion, I have it seeded all over my garden, you can get a white flowering variety as well🌸
@lisa868 it has a flower on a long stem with silvery green leaves near the ground?
Think you are correct @lisa868 👏 👏
Morning all 💋 question.. Does anyone else dead head rose campion? Or should/do you just leave it?
Lovely plant. I do mine but only so I don’t see the crusty petals. Not sure if it encourages more buds or not.
Morning I dead head all my flowers but not got this one do not sure what to advise
Same here @christophrost I can't see it encouraging new flowers on this type of plant either.. Just don't like seeing lots of dead heads 🙄😊
Thanks Keely @Keely enjoy your day 😊
I always deadhead mine. If you look down the stem from the dead flower, you may see a little notch. A new bud comes from there. If the flowers set seed it flowers less as that’s the plants job done
Brilliant thanks @joanboston will keep up with the deadheading then 101 102 103 👍😁💕
Seems to be the way to go @Jasonsparkes1 👍😊
I deadhead everything as I don't like to see the in between stage as the buds are changing into seedheads.
I find it therapeutic actually Diane but I’m odd. 😂😂
Doing any type of gardening is therapeutic I think even dead heading @joanboston 😊👍
Know what you mean @ublaszko can't walk past plants without getting the urge to dead head even when they aren't mine 😳
