Looks pretty but I’m guessing it’s not good for the fence in the long run🤔 Is there an effective way to kill it for good? It’s coming from underneath the fence.

Shame cos it does look nice against the fence 💚 Can't help with the getting rid though, I did the opposite and planted some 😁

Dig up and plant in a large pot and trellis it. Cus it's very pretty.. Add other vine plants to trellis/arbor/arch to have a mixed combo for all seasons.

Well dig up your side then put some metal edging at bottom of your fence into ground so wont keep coming back under it. Ivy is beautiful

I like ivy. So I would leave it on the fence but make sure it doesn't grow on the house - definitely bad for bricks.

The fence looks sturdy so unless you let it become rampant it should be ok. I'm thinking of getting some to grow on the back of the house, great for wildlife.

I’ve decided to do just that, will keep a careful watch on its growth 😉 @charlotte @anne8691
