Have been gifted this lovely orchid. I'd really like to try and look after it well so any advice you guys have would be much appreciated 🤗 I had one years ago which died and I've not bothered since! #advice

@Denise16 Water when the medium approach dryness with room temperature water. Keep it in a bright, even direct sunlight position. New growth will start to develop from the base of the plant and this growth next year will give you flowers. For that it needs a dry and a cooler period during the winter with minimum water.

Thanks Christos. It has 2 stems at the base, one has flower buds on it. Maybe a bit premature 🤔 I will keep water to a minimum @Christos

@Denise16 It is not premature. It is how they grow them at the nursery. Now your task is to provide lots of light and water only when the medium approach dryness. The minimum water goes for next year and that only for the resting period in the winter.
