Now my Hookeriana is starting to turn red. I'm so frustrated with not knowing if this is good or bad. Tonight my husband is going to help me raise my lights. It's getting "sunburned" so to say. Nepenthes like bright often sometimes filtered direct light. Very often if nepenthes are kept outside they need to be part shade plants and not direct sun plants because of this "sunburn" reason. If kept as direct sun plants a 'shade' cloth is needed. How close do you have your lights to your nepenthes? They don't need to be near as close to anything as you would get them close to say a sundew.
