Located with a distant view of the River Deben in Suffolk and open to meadows. I am trying to merge the garden with the wild indigenous plants.
#latebloomer the Gaura just keeps going throughout the summer and autumn with little or no care….. what a great plant it is🥰
It certainly is David it’s been an absolute star in my garden
@vegandmore #gaureappreciationsociety 😃
I really like mine, just got a couple more recently
Thus Gaura is fully established now having grown from a cutting two or three years ago….. one of my favourite plants🥰
Mine too David plus it’s seems drought tolerant 😁
Very pretty 🤩
@juliesgarden thank you Julie👍
@vegandmore indeed they are Christine….. I think we are going to need to concentrate more on drought tolerant plant’s and stop trying to grow plants that are so thirsty! 🤔🤔🤔
Gaura cutting taken in early spring ready for planting out…… so satisfying #gyo
#latebloomer 9th October. Gaura sparkle white, and bee blossom behind, have been blooming since early summer….. wonderful plants 🤩
#longblooming #bestofsummer this gorgeous plant blooms all the way through the summer🤩
Gaura caught in the late evening light🤩

Cutting taken last autumn doing well and enjoying the dry conditions we have here in Suffolk.
One of my favourites David it’s so pretty! 🤍
@mich one of mine too Michelle..... gorgeous plant and so robust too🤩
The Gaura is looking fabulous and loving its home tucked under the olive tree. One of my all time favourite plants and will be flowering right through into the autumn🤩
Gorgeous plants. They do seem to flower forever! 🤍
And they are easy propagating from cuttings too..... win, win I reckon Kerry😃
Nice photo with bench in the background
First blooms to appear on the Gaura..... will now be in flower until late autumn! One of my faves😍
Oh and mine too David, it’s so elegant. Once of my must haves in the garden.
Beautiful flower 🤍
@valjones-hughes as you probably know Val, they are very easy to propagate from cutting too! I had a 100% success rate with the dozen or so I took in the autumn and early spring.
Cuttings taken in the autumn looking good..... love this plant!
Lovely healthy roots 👍
Growing guara from seed, will definitely try cutting if they grow well.
Gaura cuttings taken in late October look as though they have taken okay🤠 My favourite plant of 2019
Very nice 👍
@columbiariver thanks Laura
@linfoster I can’t believe I hadn’t noticed this plant before last spring Lin!
My favourite plant 😍😍
One of my new favourites..... just keeps flowering and looks after itself!
If you collect seeds they’re very easy to propagate David 👍
@pelly thanks Jane.... will give it a go!
@suerichards thanks Sue
Woo hoo! I planted one of these yesterday and what a bargain it was too 😊😊❤❤
It looks nice where you've put it too David. Wonderful plant 😊😊❤❤
Be warned though, they're fiddly to collect but worth it 😃😃
@pelly I think a microscope might be needed Jane!
@midnightgardener I saw your pink one yesterday Christine..... thanks for you kind comments x
@Davidward Are these plants hardy David? Just that I looked at mine today and the flowers are wilting. Not at all like they were 😕could be one for the refuge of the greenhouse 💚💚
Love this plant..... flowers for months and is drought tolerant too! 9th August 2019
Me too, I have several different ones 😍😍
I have a Gaura as well but no where as tidy as yours in fact it is very unruly, what is the secret @Davidward @pelly
😂😂 mine are messy too Carol, but I like them that way @cjh123
@cjh123 I’ve only had it a few months Carol so it will probably be messy like yours and Jane’s next season! @pelly
Thank you @auricula mine is in a large pot so perhaps I should move it to the border so it can grow as yours does 😃
That’s gorgeous 😊
Gaura..... Lovely delicate drought tolerant plant
