Located with a distant view of the River Deben in Suffolk and open to meadows. I am trying to merge the garden with the wild indigenous plants.
Late evening sunshine after a rainy afternoon
That’s lovely David 😁
@godfreye @vegandmore @novicegardenlover thank you for your kind comments👍
That's a beauty!
@lesliecole49 thank you Leslie 👍
Incredibly, barely a nibble on this Hosta all season.🐌
Fingers crossed...... will the Hosta get to flower without a single nibble?

Big muma Hosta catching a bit of evening sun after spending most of the day in the shade
Hosta in the shade of the corner trees and shrubs still not been found by the slugs and snails! The bark wood chip, and being in a pot seems to have kept them at bay..... so far😬
Slugs and 🐌 not too abundant this year
Like me you must be having a really dry spell in recent weeks! @nj
In shade for most of the day but the Hosta is enjoying a bit of evening sunshine
Looks real healthy!
Lovely condition 💚
@njquantock @lovemygarden65 @solly1961 thanks..... so far the 🐌 have not found it! The grass and shingle surrounding it helps keep em at bay!
@solly1961 @Davidward @lovemygarden65 last year the slugs were all over my hosta this year not a sign of them so far it’s all aphids!
You should have saved this for Foliage Friday. It looks very impressive 😊😊💚💚💛
Slug watch has begun!
Those dam slugs ! There's loads in my garden already 🙁
@london148 its been so dry the last 6 weeks here in Suffolk that fortunately not too many around yet!!!

Mine the same so I'd better start my slug watch too... thanks for reminding me!

Small baby plant likes its new home in the front garden...... conveniently covering a man hole!
Stunning! How do you keep it in winter? Indors??
@trynax The leaves die back in the autumn and I just tuck them out of view until they start shooting in the spring
Beautiful foliage! Thanks @Davidward
