Located with a distant view of the River Deben in Suffolk and open to meadows. I am trying to merge the garden with the wild indigenous plants.
#wildlifewednesday- can you spot the incoming bee🐝
Don’t overshoot the runway
Dahlias getting better and better 🤩 #latebloomer
Lovely colour combo👌
Wow! So many blooms 😀
@anges @bobbyball @vegandmore thank you for your kind comments 👍
These gorgeous dahlia’s were given to me by a friend last autumn so I don’t know the variety. Being new to growing them I didn’t realise how many hundreds of varieties there are!
Beware, they are addictive! 🤣👍🏼
@michyb333 I think you might be right Michelle 😬
I do have a very similar one David called 'Duet' - look it up and see what you think? 💮
Thank you Christine. I will check it out👍
Loving these Dahlias 🤩
My dahlias were got by mites or something. I have been out of action for weeks due to illness so I didn’t spot the signs my dahlias are now as sick as me. 😢 It’s nice to see yours are doing well. @Davidward your garden is always a delight.
What a lovely surprise to see this gorgeous bloom having been given some tubers last autumn🤩
Lovely colour David 😍
@charlotte @vegandmore thank you 👍
These dahlias are a bit like having daffodils right through the summer😃
They are! So pretty and spring like
@villagegirl thanks Jill👍
Dahlias are really abundant this year….. does anybody recognise this variety? #plantid
