What do you eat it with? I planted sage for bees but I never really used it in cooking. Not sure what to use it with.

It's good on anything pork Urszula, I also use it when I'm mixing a variety of spices for breading. Plus can be cut, dried and used as a smudge stick. @ublaszko

@ublaszko I grow it mostly to keep aggravating bugs away, like flies, gnats and mosquitos while we sit out on the patio or while cooking on the grill. I dry it after cutting a bunch and wrapping with fishing line after it's dry, looks like a dried cigar, take and light it after flames go out it smokes and that's what the bugs don't like👍smells nice too @lesliecole49

Ah, we rarely eat pork except when we occasionally eat apple sausages or bacon and brie sandwiches. It's too fatty and gives me heartburn. 😅 I think I'll stick to letting sage go to flower and both me and bees can enjoy the flowers. I've done the same with oregano. I bought oregano earlier in spring and had it a few times in food but it's a bit too bitter. I think I need to buy a different variety that's a bit less bitter. @lesliecole49

I've let mine go to flower too Urszula I don't cook a real meal (it's just me, I tend to graze) often enough to actually harvest it so I just pick it as I need it. I will cut it back if it ever stops raining long enough for me to get out there! @ublaszko

I've just found a recipe for Turkish tea with sage and lemon. I might give it a go and see if I can make use of sage in the kitchen. Most recipes I found with sage are either with pork or turkey and we don't really eat either of these. @lesliecole49
