More #tulips what a beautiful afternoon here, just creating my pots from the local GC pot luck (🤣🤣) bedding plant and compost delivery, it’s a family business and everyone is rallying around to make an order, to support them, so sad as they won’t make a profit but at least hopefully they won’t make a lost..
This little beauty made an appearance in the sun yesterday 🌷 I hope everyone has a lovely Mothering Sunday, not always an easy day for those with out their mum however young or old, days like these accentuate the loss so take care lovely people 💔💐
Yes @jaynehynesburton having him to raise and care for literally gets us through each day.. and the garden as a reprieve obviously.. you are attacking yours and making phenomenal progress- such great therapy!
Just for you @scaryskates although she will think I’m a stalker! Thank you @juliesgarden and @pelly - and @tash74 will do and looking forward to our jolly to @lewiscottageplants - anyone in the south west and beyond fancy a trip to this #ngs garden in May?!
Lovely and bright Carole 💛 I really must add more for next year - didn't plant enough for impact 😏 and I have Queen of the Night, as Ian @bigemrg says, the colour is gorgeous but quite a plain bloom 😬 after yesterday I think I will go for the big, blowsy varieties!
They recommend November, which is quite late for bulbs but it seems to work! I quite like grouping them in pots too @jacq1075 so you can drop a pot in to any gaps in the border and I find a better success rate in pots but that might just be my soil..
Thank you @paulcov and yes @juliesgarden I have a little nursery by the shed that as soon as they stop flowering they go there in plastic pots and reuse the nicer pots for summer colour! It's a constant juggling 🤹♂️ act!
Awh thank you @rachelbrooks yes beach with the 3 girls, their 2 dogs and our grandson, our son is working unfortunately, ah these media types!! Hope your 3 boys have spoilt you! And you have a fabby day 😘
