👏👏 well done. I'm afraid I've pulled my beets and shoved them in the recycling bin (total disaster not a good food crop year for me. Not giving up though just blaming the weather). Even strawberries struggling this year as keep getting white fly😣
Oh no @Diane76 some years go like that it's peas for me this year last year my cauliflower were awful.. really lucky not to be on a water meter so occasionally I do water the raised beds as they dry out so quickly and I've got a syphon type thingy from the stream which helps..
yes @linfoster I love them roasted but even for me it was too many especially as I've not cooked for a day or two (hubby at band practise and dinner at my daughter's and coz it's too hot to cook 😏) I started mine in plugs for this year for the first time and that made a massive difference and same every month after that..
Oh I'll try that too.. just experimenting with blanching cauliflower @linfoster any other recommendations (I don't like piccalilli 🤢) was thinking of pre making cauliflower cheese and freezing it? What do you think?
Oh ok I shall try not blanching it think that's why it's gone soggy before 🤢 reminds me of school dinners yuk! Thank you 😊 @linfoster and yes I love it in a veggie curry!
Oh that sounds yummy as a Pizza base! Was also going to use it as a cauliflower rice.. just wanted to work out some preservation methods too so that's great thanks 🙏 @linfoster
Oh I'm going to try that! My daughter doesn't let my grandson have pizza 🍕 but he loves it when he's tried it so I shall make him cauliflower base pizzas 🍕 😋😋let me know when your recipe book is out I've thought of a title "from plot to plate" by @linfoster
#beetroot 😋 roasted and ready to pickle, minus a couple that ended up in a sandwich 😏😋😋 #gyo
