Thanks for your comment on cleaning the slabs with washing powder, I’ve recently started using dry salt on the weeds and that’s so easy as well, just sprinkle on and leave then they die back. Have enjoyed looking at your photos, Devon is a lovely place, we stayed at the Mermaid Cottage last September in Dawlish, had a lovely week ☺️👍🏻

I’m giving it a go that’s for sure @prunella - Awh Dawlish is nice part of the world, except if you are on a train in a hurricane! Bit close to the sea 😱we are about 30 minutes away so love visiting that coast.. especially in the winter!

I know I thought they were early, first one popped up about six weeks ago @angiecrazycatlady but they are in an old fire pit next the the back door in a very sheltered spot and I’m down south so I imagine that helps! 😊
