Echinopsis chamaecereus syn. Chamaecereus silvestrii

My peanut cactus has these rusty places on some of the arms. It was even split open in a couple places. Nothing is squishy or softer than it should be, but I am concerned. I watered it. Anyone have any clue? #peanutcactus #cactus #cactushelp

Over watering perhaps. One time in this gtags group I had similar problem (and I have done it again and need to do this myself). It was suggested to take plant out of the soil and let it dry out for a few weeks. It won't hurt it. Then repot. Someone might have a better suggestion but this has worked for me.
