@charlotte Thanks. He’s doing pretty well. All wounds are healing well. Still a bit sore at times. Have a date with consultant in a few weeks to review and get results of biopsy on the kidney.

@kez001uk I've seen quite a few butterflies in garden but not landing!! I'm hoping when my buddleias have more flowers on them, there'll be more butterflies landing!!

Well @debrascott @carolbewley this is what's left! I noticed one of the branches had a slit in it and was dead, which didn't help. Think I might take some cuttings in case it all curls and dies! It's a bit different to my other buddleia that is flourishing (next pic)

Good luck - they are pretty tough so should bounce back

If in doubt with a buddleia just cut it down to the ground...almost & unless there’s something wrong should grow back strong! Might lose out on flowers this year. 😊👍🏻

@carolbewley @debrascott @Leroybe well it’s happening again. More of it is starting to shrivel up. I did find a mullein moth caterpillar on it today don’t know if that’s the problem. Some of the branches are trying to grow flowers. This weekend I’m going to take cuttings and grow new plants in case have to dig this one up. 😞

Might just be requiring more water. Have you tried Chelsea chop to reduce height

@debrascott @carolbewley I did prune it in spring, harder than I usually have done. It was getting a bit bent and out of shape. I wondered about water but then it rained heavily on Wednesday and Thursday with the storms. Do you think I should cut off all the bits with curling leaves on and see what happens?
