Good morning GTers! It's nearly the weekend again so it must be time for a #FlashbackFriday post! This #blue #agapanthus was definitely my most prolific flowerer last year, producing dozens and dozens of flower spikes! Have a a fabulous Friday everyone! 😀
Morning Mr another that didn’t flower last year 😏leaves but no flowers 🤔have a fabotastic day
@nessas - This particular one went crazy last year - take a look at the second and third pictures before this one! They seem to like to have their roots crowded - mine are in a smallish pot for the size of the root system! Have a fabotastic day yourself! 😀
Afternoon Ian, that’s bluetiful! Hope mine actually bother to turn up this year 😆
@rachelbrooks - Another blue flower that's reluctant to show! I've always had success when I've restricted root growth, either by growing in small pots or surrounding the roots with rocks! 😀
Wow !!! Love it. Love it. Love it.
@johninbrighton - Thank you Sir! 😀

Good evening all! Can't believe it has been over two weeks since I last posted but I've just got my broadband connection working properly again! Hope everyone is well! This is the first year that these #white #agapanthus plants have flowered and I think they look very pretty, even when covered in raindrops! 😀
Well hello , nice to see you back 😁😉
@juliesgarden - Hi Julie! It's nice to be back! Got lots of things to post and a lot of catching up to do! 😀
Great to have you back Ian, and another stunning photo. 😄😄😄
@pelly - Thanks Jane! Fingers crossed that my connection holds up! 😀
Ah Hello Ian 😊
@jaynehynesburton - Hi Jayne! 😀
@ukjohnny - Thanks very much John! 😀
Fab as usual!
@franshinegee - Thank you Fran! 😀
Welcome back. We've missed your stunning photos 😍

Good evening all! It has been a very busy week for me so far but I'm all set now for a long weekend with gardening, fish keeping and photography all on the agenda! Can't believe how many flowers my #blue #agapanthus has this year! I couldn't fit it all in a square picture so had to go panoramic! 😀
Evening Ian @bigemrg what a Stunning pic 👌👏 have missed you on here lately especially your Fab pics look forward to seeing some over the weekend 👍
Evening Ian, that's fabulous! 👌🏼 sounds like a good weekend and that you deserve it! 👍🏼👍🏼
Evening Ian, fabulous display 💙💙💙
@jadojado29 - Aww, thanks Suzie! Hopefully I'll be able to post a bit more regularly in the coming weeks! 😀
@rachelbrooks - Thanks Rachel! Well I certainly think I do! I just hope the weather plays along with me! 😀
@pelly - Thanks Jane, it is, isn't it? They put the rest of my flowers to shame! 😀
Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Other Gters seem to have abundance of flowers this year👏🏻
@kathy - Well these are definitely putting my other flowers to shame Kathy! 😀

Good evening all! I've been neglecting my garden recently due to work and aquarium refurbishment duties but it doesn't seem to have deterred my #agapanthus from going crazy! I count over thirty separate flower stems! Can anyone beat that? 😀
Wohooo 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Wow. I've not got one on mine yet 😣
Oh wow Ian @bigemrg is this the secret nothing on mine 😞 & I love these yours will look spectacular when they come out 👌
@nessas - 😀😀😀
@Keely - Oh no Keely! Hopefully more will be on the way soon! 😀
@jadojado29 - It must be the secret Suzie! Wish I could send you some of mine! 😀
Last count I've 26 flower stems🤦🏼♂️
@lamaisonbleueoleron - Very impressive Steve! 😀
Well I have precisely...none! So no! 😆😆 that's amazing Ian! 👍🏼👏🏼
@rachelbrooks - Oh no that's such a shame Rachel! I'll keep my fingers crossed that they'll be along soon! 😀
Haven't noticed any on mine yet this year. I've lost a big one completely over winter 😐

Good afternoon GTers! Been alternating between sunshine and showers so far today, and one of my #agapanthus has decided it likes the conditions! 😁
Very nice x
💕 One of my favourites. I'm waiting patiently for my buds to open
That's good I'm growing this for first time @bigemrg so hope one likes these conditions too @bigemrg
Super colour
Fab shot 👌Hoping mine will appear soon as well. Bought quite a few new varieties last year after seeing some stunning ones on here @richard.spicer.7906 All your fault! 😂
Hi Ian. Been dry here today but skies full of black clouds. My Agapanthus a few weeks away still.
@bevkb - Thanks! One of my favourites! 😀
@vec - Mine too! I first noticed the buds four weeks ago! There are now 14 flower spikes on this particular plant! 😀
@titchyfra - I grew them for the first time three years ago, starting with this plant! I now have five pots full! 😀
@kathy - Yes, it's a lovely blue isn't it? 😀
@mojo - Thanks! I started with this one and now have four different varieties! They're quite addictive once you get into them! 😀

Good afternoon GTers! I was surprised to find that one of my #agapanthus was coming into bud already! Seems a bit early to me! Never mind! I'm off to the pub this afternoon for a much deserved rest! Hope you have a great afternoon too and I'll play catch up tomorrow! 😀
Wow 😎 a very keen plant 🙈
🍺🍻 have fun
Make mine a pint!
#bud
Friday lunchtime pint, sounds like a great idea! Enjoy 🍺
Beautiful enjoy your pint Ian :)
Great photo (as always) Ian!!
Good morning GTers! This #agapanthus had dozens of flowers last year but only has one bud at the moment! I guess one is better than none though! Have a terrific Thursday everyone! 😀
Morning Ian 🙋♀️
Good morning Ian. Mine are loaded with buds thankfully ....should be a good show this year. Enjoy your day 👋😀
@juliesgarden - Good morning Julie! 😀
@flof1952 - Morning Pauline! I'm hoping it's just having a rest and will be back with a bang next year! 😀
Good morning Ian on this rainy miserable day. Nice to see your flower getting ready to bloom🤗
@godfreye - Morning Enid! It's wet here too! The garden will appreciate it though! 😀
I haven’t had one for 2 years - they’re a bit temperamental 🤣
@sharonhayden - Oh no Sharon! I've never had problems with mine flowering before! You know they do better when their roots are restricted? 😀
Thanks yes I put it in a pot this year - still no buds!
Just having a little peak to see what it’s like out there...
@sharonhayden - Mine are in pots too, with rocks around their roots! Good luck with yours! 😀
