Small narrow garden behind a family house with an even smaller fish pond in a village in the middle of Europe. It's a great place to relax.

Vaccinium corymbosum

Have these been easy to grow, I've dithering about whether to try some or not? @bensgarden

From my point of view easy Gillian. I bought it three years ago and have it in the big pot (20"), all the year outside (zone H2). All I do is just watering and fertilizing, both are important, the more it is in the pot. I'm thinking about putting it in the ground which could make it a bit easier. It needs a special type of soil, light and acidic (pH 4-5). From the 4th year it needs pruning to stimulate growth of the new sprouts that will bear fruit the next year. @Eeyore

Thanks Kelsi! We talked about it a few days ago and it's here. Now it goes fast. Some of them are already harvested 😉 @KelsiBriana

#blueberries look very good this year. They are big and there are lots of them. Second year with #berries is much better than first one. I'm looking forward to maturing.

Nice blue-berries. They are just a bit pink because they are green 😜 @bensgarden

There is my first serious harvest of blueberries this year. I don't count the two berries from last year. #blueberry #macro
