I may teaching granny to suck eggs here but.... When the flowers have finished or are looking tired on the daffs, deadhead them, but leave the stems until they're completely brown. This means all the nutrients have gone back to the bulb. You can then lift the bulbs & let them dry. You can then save them until September & plant them in pots / beds / lawns. If they're already in the lawn, try not to mow them until the stems are brown. Good luck.
Thanks @slugslayer so I cut the flowers from the top but leave most of the stem rather than cut the stem at the bottom? All bulbs were left in the ground this winter....... Ooopsie!!!

Sorry, I mean bulbs were left in the ground all year!
@slugslayer any (dog friendly) tips on how to stop slugs eating the daff flowers?! 😉
If you're happy where they are, that's fine. Just remember where they are!!! But the more stem you leave, the better the flower will be next year.
Nematoads if they're in beds or pots. They last about 6 weeks, so should see the flowering season out.
Thanks @slugslayer - that's a huge help 😊 will deadhead from the top. Thank you
Ideal - I'll get some in as the greedy lil slime balls have eaten 3 out of 5 so far!!! 😡
