Lovely deep red velvet colouring. Looks like a stunning specimen.
Looking lovely.
Gorgeous 😘
We have one in our garden but it never really has abundant flowers. What should we do?
Such a stunning bloom 😍
Beautiful 😍
We have one in our front garden and all we do is cut it right back after its died back and we get beautiful blooms every year, ours is in a sunny position and protected by a wall
Love my peony but very few blooms, only two by looks of it. Wrong position? Not sunny particularly @ericbarker are they moveable at right time? Anyone?
Hi @barbaramatthews your peony looks lovely, once all flowers have died off and left with little empty buds, do you cut the whole thing right back? Like to an inch above soil? Sorry it's my first year taking the garden seriously?
Hi @scott22hay I dead head them just under the flower and leave! Have had so few flowers last couple years thinking I will move it. The RHS advices cutting right back in Autumn, to help avoid peony wilt! It also says wait till Autumn to divide and move!
Thank you x
