When I'm not on my bike, you'll find me in my organic-ish garden in #Cumbria. Favourite plants? Wisteria, hellebores, paeonies, philadelphus...
We are now nearer next mid-summer than last and the garden can’t wait to get going again 🌸💗🌸
What a fabulous thought 💕💕💕
Woohoo!! I’ll iron me ‘kini then! 👙😉
Gotta keep positive Jane 😉 @pelly
No need to get carried away there, a cozzie’ll do 😉 @rachelbrooks
3 January 2018 • A little bit of tidying in the rain was worth it 🌸
Wow! Already?! 💕
Much too wet here to do anything.🙁🙁🙁
Yes the rubra is always much earlier than the blue spotty one - at least it is in my garden @rachelbrooks
Heavy rain here too James but decided that I’d just get wet 🙄 @fisherman
I’m sure I planted one last year...🤔 I’ll have to go on a hunt...
Good luck 🏹 🌸 @rachelbrooks
Just checked the RHS A-Z 😉😂😂 & P. Rubra “flowers from late winter”... as do most of the others 🙄😂😂 @rachelbrooks
I wonder if this is P. rubra ‘Redstart’: “has coral-red flowers, and is often the first pulmonaria to flower, in midwinter”. Sounds about right...
Hmmm...thank you. Had a look...nuffink! Mind you it’d help if I could remember exactly where I planted them! 🙈
😂😂 no photo on GT to guide you? @rachelbrooks
I didn’t catalogue it! 🙄🤦🏻♀️
Look what else I found! 😊😊
Now it makes me even more anxious for spring so we can see the blooms on the lungwort we planted last year. It looks so pretty!
I know! It was a lovely surprise Claudia. Having said that, the rubra always flowers much earlier than the P. Officinalis @clipperty
I forget how nice they are in the spring, as they do look a bit tatty later in the year @gjones
