When I'm not on my bike, you'll find me in my organic-ish garden in #Cumbria. Favourite plants? Wisteria, hellebores, peonies, philadelphus...

On a happier note these are the #windflowers that I got weeks ago from #mozzersclub but finally managed to plant in a brief gap between storms 💦💨💦💨💦 #windflower

5 Mar 2019 • I love that these are finally beginning to spread. They bring such a vibrant colour to a fairly shady bit of the garden 💙💜💙

They are such pretty little flowers, I’m not sure why I haven’t got any, but that can easily be rectified 🙄😊

Such pretty little things. How long has it taken? 🤔 I’ve planted loads the last couple of years and I have 3 come up! 🙄

I’ve only got blue with about 3-4 white ones but they have spread nicely

I have had them for years Rachel. I’ve no idea what I’ve done to finally make them happy though 🤔🤔 @rach

The RHS warns about them spreading but I’d love mine to spread more 😂@joanboston

Mine are under our large cherry tree so I love to see them in spring. Not a lot grows there in summer so that’s not a problem @awomanonabike

1 April 2018 • I took this yesterday before the heavy rain. Suspect it’s not looking so perky now. These are much hardier than the encyclopaedia says & will happily survive down to -15C or even -20C, which is just as well given the cold, wet winter I thought we had emerged from 😉

Thanks Katy & G - good to know (I wish we could edit encyclopaedia entries...) My RHS book only refers to the British Isles and we don’t get that low here, thankfully. Brrrr! ❄️❄️ @gjones
