When I'm not on my bike, you'll find me in my organic-ish garden in #Cumbria. Favourite plants? Wisteria, hellebores, paeonies, philadelphus...
(Not the best photo but...) I'd forgotten that the flowers on this plant were so pretty. I'd grown it for the foliage 🖤💜🖤
Another unusual one
So unusual that after I bought it I realised I already had one 🙄 There's a fabulous nursery near here that has lots of unusual plants... https://larchcottage.co.uk/cms/home @rachelbrooks
Doh! 🙈 we’ve all done it! 😬😂 that looks an interesting place...good job I’m not nearer! 😂😂
It's wonderful. You'll have to visit when you eventually get yourself up here. You have a car don't you 🤔😉 @rachelbrooks
Well I don’t at the moment! It’s broken! 😂 but yes, I do and yes, I will have to visit...there are so many places on my list!
Is this related to white snakeroot? Sure looks like the one I have.
I don't know I'm afraid Laura. It's pretty though isn't it @columbiariver
Oops! Sorry to be insensitive 😥 Hope it's back on the road again soon @rachelbrooks
😂 it’s ok, he’s in the hospital, they’re looking after him! 👍🏼
Yes, its nice and tough. After reading up a bit I'm certain they're the same. It was sold to me as one of Joe Pye's famous weeds. It must have medicinal values as well then. But I love the color it provides and the height. 💕
Wish him a speedy recovery @rachelbrooks
This is going to have to compete with Crocosmia Lucifer, but I think it will cope
