Hey I’m a gardener in Michigan with a passion for native plants. I want to help make the seeds more available. My focus is on MSU’s native plant list.

#daisyfleabane #fromseed #ittybitty these died and then new waves keep coming up, finally getting some true leaves

I think these seed developed fully, last set of instructions I followed didn’t yield any plants #seedcollecting #asteraceae

Would subdivision of the plant be easier?

They may need stratification before they will sprout. I’ve had success moving the plants but they die back in the summer. Never tried the seeds.

@brightcolours Subdivision would be easier, I am trying to research how to grow these plants from seed because there is very little information online I can find because there are easier ways to propagate them.

@BettyBurks Good to know, I’ll pop em in Strat if they don’t start germinating
