Coleus "Autumn'. Starting to colour up now that Spring is here. In Winter, here in the subtropics where our Coleus are in the garden all year, they lose their vibrant colours. This one is starting to turn from dark red to golden brightness. This was a cutting I saved from the mother plant, a victim of drought conditions. Will make sure I get a good cutting stock as soon as this baby is big enough. #coleus-autumn #coleus #cutting

@Annettenoosa there really are! Never saw the appeal of foliage when I started gardening but it brings so much! And longer lasting than flowers will ever be 😛

Coleus 'Autumn'. Tones of gold, bronze, sunset orange and green. Large, textured leaves with scalloped edges. Wonderful shades of continuous colour to brighten an empty gap or harmonise with flowers. #coleus #coleus-autumn #autumncolour #foliagefriday

Has this one survived?

@brightcolours I think something ate the mother plant but two small cuttings survived. Colours are deep red at the moment and will change when weather warms up. Will post a photo of the survivors and save one for you when they get their next trim.
