Since it's a #blue weekend just had to repost possibly my fav pic I've ever taken of a single flower

😍💙 beautiful - I really hope mine flowers like this eventually but I think I will have to wait till next year. I read I should cut of the buds in the first year to help the plant establish, esp given its probably going to be a challenge growing this in my neck of the woods.

@richard.spicer.7906 As I said to you earlier I sacrificed flowers in the first year to establish strong roots & plant. I have to admit that I'm never confident it will pop up in springtime again but afraid to split it for extra plants for fear they all die. I'm a bit paranoid about it & would be devastated if it died.
