Bit of a surprise yesterday- found this flowering in the sunshine. Is it an Aquilegia? Correct me if I'm wrong. Does anyone know the name of it if it is? Thanks 💜

It’s definitely an aquilegia but I’m afraid I have no idea which one though they hybridise so easily it could be Aquilegia ‘Ange’ 😉👌

😄😄 Thanks Jacqueline, that will do for me! It's a tiny little thing - glad I didn't miss it 😊 @awomanonabike

They hybridise so you may never know the name, I have alpine and McKenna varieties plus the wild ones that turn up in your garden and they have all hybridized so I have some very pretty plants of all sizes and colours 😊

Okay Angie, I didn't realise they're so rampant 😄 I was just curious about a name - I like it for what it is - think it's got its timings wrong 😄 💜 @angiecrazycatlady
