Why did you take it down to the roots to repot? Ive had a shamrock for years and years, they bloom so often and they just make me happy.

@lesliecole49 I wasn't planning to, but the roots were much bigger than I expected! These are just pieces that broke off accidentally during the process, which I also replanted afterward... I just found them interesting and wanted to take a photo 😀

What are the little brown circular things at the bottom of the photo? Stones? They look like baby potatoes!

@gjones They are hydro rocks, basically just water-absorbing balls of dried clay, can be used instead of soil for some plants... I tend to use them layered in the bottoms of potted plants to help with drainage ☺️
